My interest in investing began in middle school when a class project had teams battle against each other in a simulated stock-picking competition. By high school I was purchasing real stocks for my own modest portfolio.
In college I developed an effective strategy for day-trading penny stocks that allowed me a modest income. Over time I made enough money to put a small down payment on our first home.
I’ve come a long way since day-trading, and my approach has changed to facilitate more consistent results with proven investment science strategies - all while holding a day job.
I believe the investment world has changed significantly in the last 20 years. We’re at a pivotal point when investment management is becoming easier and more accessible to everyone.
It is my passion to empower others so that they might become their own independent investment manager. That is what Solovest is really all about.
